My name is Jason D. page and I am Light Painter. I have been working as a painter of light since the end of 2004. My paintings of light are created in almost total darkness. I work in a three-dimensional space and paint with light just as a traditional painter would do with oil or acrylic paints. To capture my work, I use a photographic technique called "long exposure". I open the shutter of my camera for a given period and I use different light sources to create colors and drawings. Each painting of light is unique and irreplaceable. To produce my images I use everything from classic flashlight to chemical concoction to create explosions of light. No photo editing is used. All my photos are created in real time and captured in a unique photographic setting.
